Screen Printing Technologies With Fresh Essence at PAMEX ’15

Innovations flourish in the printing industry, trending in all parameters, including the screen printing segment. Leading exhibitors are showcasing fresh quintessence of screen printing technologies at the ongoing PAMEX ’15 Show Daily captures
a few of these exhibitors.

DSC03314 APL Machinery, one of the leading companies in India engaged in
manufacturing of screen printing machines as well as UV coating and curing, showcases its ‘LED UV System’ which they mechanically call magic wand because it enhances values of prints in all parameters, including flexo, rotogravure, offset and web. On the unique UV product putting up currently on display at their stall, Abhishek Paul, director, APL Machinery Pvt Ltd says, “It’s exclusive because it is common to printing of all sorts; it’s faster in speed, capable to print thinner stocks, low energy consumption, among other features.”  APL Machinery is acclaimed for its technical collaboration with leading US and German company for the latest UV curing technologies.

KeywellTaiwanese screen printing machine manufacture Keywell draws crowd to its stall, displaying some high-end (screen printing) machines, including Automatic 360o Front Pick-Up Cylinder Screen Printing Machine. Elated to the number of enquiries they received from potential visitors so far at the show, Wilson Lin of Keywell Industrial Co Ltd remarks that many printing companies that turn up at their stall show keen interest in the Automatic 360o Front Pick-Up Cylinder for a particular reason that the machine is featured with added technical advantages of processing plastic card, FPC board, film, mobile dash board, heat transfer materials, plastic sheets and more.

Yet another big showcase from a screen printing expert Kunal Enterprise is Sakurai, a direct roll-to-roll cylinder screen press, MSDR60. Explaining a bit about the outstanding features of the machine, Ajay Gandhi, director, Kunal Enterprise remarks that it’s featured with very thin substrate printing, fast tact time, numeric control, alignment accuracy and more. Other handful of innovative products/materials now displaying at the company’s stall include EP-PAK laminated barrier films from the Japanese company TOPPAN as well as inks and materials shelved in its material division. Kunal Enterprise is also dealer of new-age doming machine, DP-PM CV Smart Series.

, a sister concern of JN Arora, a leading manufacturer of screen printing inks and related chemicals, showcases a range of printing chemicals including some for screen printing process. Talking about their showcase, RakeshChauhan, marketing manager, Vivid Manufacturing Co Pvt Ltd says that the categories of ‘Special Products’ they showcase at their small but compact stall include Vivid Flexo Clean UV, designed for cleaning UV flexo inks; Vivid Flexo Clean Aqua for water-based flexo inks and others. “Our main mission is to provide printers of all sorts, including screen printing firms, chemicals that can save their consumable wastage in a big way.”

“We are not here to sell our machines. We are here to educate the printers about the value addition on prints using screen printing technology,” says ShripadaBhat of GraficaFlextronica. At the PAMEX ’15, GraficaFlextronica showcases its range of screen printing machines, including its Nano Screen Maker, Nano Sharpeners, Nano-UV alongside other line comprising Nano-Print series. Shripada explains that ‘screen printing’ technologies these days are additional values to offset or digital prints for UV spot applications, which create feel and touch effects.

DSC03325Skyscreen,a leading dealer of a handful of overseas screen product companies, is showing whole range of materials required for high-end screen printing process. “Presenting here at our stall is a complete combo of screen printing materials from leading overseas companies; our aim is to create awareness about how screen printing can enhance their print outcomes and business as well,” says Sunil Singh, Sr Sales Manager, Skyscreen. Currently shelved at the company’s stall are screen printing fabric from the Japanese company Nittoku; UV screen inks and varnishes from Chinese company Zhongyi; chemicals from the US screen printing major Ulano and many others.

A new revolution in value additions is the bottom line of what all these screen printing technology and machinery companies are heralding at the ongoing PAMEX ’15.
