GUWAHATI GEARS UP FOR 4TH EDITION OF NORTH EAST PRINT TECH

North East Print Tech, scheduled to happen from 26-28 Nov 2022 at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, Guwahati, will focus on featuring the fast-changing Printing & Graphic technology in the North East region of the country. The special focus will be on those who relate to Print Media, Commercial Printing & Graphic industry.

NEPT-2022 will showcase the latest technology, equipment, and machinery available for printing & graphic technology and software for press system management. It will also be an augmentation of the local entrepreneurship skills and provide newer opportunities to the local youth.

Apart from the exhibition, there will also be a dedicated space for seminars for skill development, business to business (B2B) meetings & special workshop on ‘Data Journalism’. On 26 th November 2022, the Data Journalism workshop will be conducted by PTI Bureau Chief Mrs. Durba Ghosh, where members of APCU, Guwahati Press Club and Bartajibi Sangha will also participate. The Journalism and Mass Communication students from various institution will attend the workshop.

On 27 th November, two technical workshops for working members of Printing Press will be held. Focus will be on quality control and waste management in press operation, and enviro-friendly press (green press concept). The workshops will be conducted by Renowned Printing Technologist of India- Shri Surendra B. Dhote. Students from Management Studies of different Universities / Institutions of Assam are invited to attend the same for self-grooming on entrepreneurship on Printing, Packaging & Digital industry.

An interactive conference will also be organized on 27th November by All India Federation of Master Printers and Print-Packaging.com (P) Ltd., in association with the organizers of North East Print Tech. The agenda of this conference will be to give a preview of upcoming edition of PAMEX Exhibition, scheduled for 27-30 March 2023 at Mumbai. Themed around ‘Convergence in Print’, the conference will feature panel discussion and presentation, where the printers, converters and suppliers will openly discuss the pros and cons of adopting convergence and map the tangible benefits.

On 28th November, a B2B meeting on software will be arranged, which will be applicable to manage entire press operation- right from advertisement booking to circulation billing to the press stock management. The ‘Summit Technology’ will give solutions for Print and Digital Media.

More than 3000 visitors from all over North-East are expected to attend the event. Apart from North-East, visitors from Bangladesh and nearby areas are also expected to visit the exhibition.
